1. Check List Before Use |
Please make sure that the product specifications are the same as ordered.
Check to ensure that no damage has occurred during delivery, and that there are no defects or missing items. |
2. Operation Time Set-up |
Operation Time: this refers to the time delay in operating the relay when the current is exceeded while the motor is running. Precise set-up is required since the over-current by lock runs after O-Time is passed; operation time is as marked on the scale of the time control knob.
For the initial set-up, turn the O-Time knob to the maximum setting, run the motor and calculate the running time for proper set-up.
(1) Set it longer than the running time considering the running time of the motor.
(2) Running time set-up is controllable in a range of 0.2~12/30 seconds for 2EP Type.
(3) Once the time is set up, when it locks, it will trip after the time passes O-Time at the moment of over current, (when the red LED is lit.)
(4) It will trip after the time passes O-Time when over current occurs while operating. |
3. Rated Current Set-up |
(1) Turn the current control knob to the maximum setting and run the motor.
(2) While operating, turn the knob counter-clock wise. The point at which the over current indicator lamp (O.L) illuminates red, is the actual load current (100%). Once you have reached this point, turn the knob slightly clockwise so that the current will be set to 110% ~ 120% of the actual current.
|
4. To Confirm Operating |
(1) When only the power is on, if the TEST button is pressed, the over current indicator lamp on the motor protective relay (O.L) will dim. After the time passes set up O-TIME, the (O.L) will brighten, then the power lamp will turn off as it trips.
(2) When it is tripped, if the RESET button is pressed, the over current indicator lamp turns off, the power lamp illuminates, and the initial state is recovered |
